IAEA Chief: No Evidence of Iran Building Nuclear Bomb
Geneva, June 19, 2025: International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director-General Rafael Grossi stated that the agency has found no evidence suggesting Iran is actively pursuing a nuclear weapon. "We did not find in Iran elements to indicate that there is an active, systematic plan to build a nuclear weapon," Grossi said. He added, "We have not seen elements to allow us as inspectors to affirm that there was a nuclear weapon being manufactured or produced somewhere in Iran." This statement comes amid ongoing global concerns about Iran's nuclear activities, potentially shaping discussions on international diplomacy and Iran's nuclear program.
